  • Masters - Round 1 - Results

Below are the results of the First Round Prediction Contest for the Masters 2011.

Please check your score (and anyone else’s as you wish) and report any queries within 48 hours of the date/time displayed at the top of this thread. Any queries raised after this time will not be considered. There were a couple of posts for the King vs Selby match that were submitted after the deadline, as a result these predictions will not be deemed valid.

There was a THREE-way tie for first place between Spike, JPK123 and Looki. This was resolved by looking at the number of correctly predicted matches.... Spike scored on 5 out of the 8 matches whereas Looki only predicted 4 match winners.

Therefore, congratulations to Spike for winning the round.

    Please note also that

    highlander69,
    JPK123 &
    nevets

correctly predicted the highest break of the round, which was Maguires' 142 .

I think I only scored 5 points here.

Well done to spike, it's impressive to get five out of eight winners in this very surprising round.

They are our newest members of course - did you not bother reading their introductory posts

Im guessing its the standard template used to do this prediction thing, and you are supposed to change that bit to the peoples names who apply

Dan, I think I scored 4 points (2 for Ding and 2 for Robertson). Thanks.

Odrl, I think you predicted these 3 correctly.....

Mark Williams v. Ding Junhui 4-6
John Higgins v. Graeme Dott 4-6
Neil Robertson v. Stephen Hendry 6-4

Did Higgins v Dott go 5-5? if so, thats where the mistake is????

Hm... Robertson-Hendry finished 6-3. So that should be 2x2 points for the first two matches, and 1 point for Robertson-Hendry.

Dan, you mention a 2-way tie between three people! Was JPK's 7 points total including his high-break bonus point?
