Below are the results of the Second Round Prediction Contest for the Premier League.
Please check your score (and anyone else’s as you wish) and report any queries within 48 hours of the date/time displayed at the top of this thread. Any queries raised after this time will not be considered.
A quick reminder of the scoring: 2 points for the correct scoreline; one point for the scoreline one frame adrift.
There was a three-way tie for first-place (between Odrl, Looki and Mr P) this could not be resolved by looking at the frame difference between predicted and actual results as Looki and Mr P scored their total of 7 points in the same manner (2 , 2 , 2, 1) - giving a frame difference of 1 for the match that scored 1 point.
So, the high-break prediction was the next criteria used to decide the tie-break, both going for 147 as the high-break. So, still no winner. The last criteria to decide the winner of this round looks at who posted earlier....
Looki : 29th September 2010, 06:24 PM
Mr P : 30th September 2010, 04:45 PM
Therefore, provisional congratulations to Looki for winning the round.
Please note also that xxxxxxx gained a bonus point for correctly predicting the highest break of the round, which was 119 by Mark Selby.
