Below are the provisional results of the Prediction Contest for the Premier League semi-finals.
Please check your score (and anyone else’s as you wish) and report any queries within 48 hours of the date/time displayed at the top of this thread. Any queries raised after this time will not be considered.
A quick reminder of the scoring, now that the tournament has reverted to standard knock-out format: 2 points for the correct winner and scoreline; one point for the correct winner with incorrect scoreline.
There was a tie for 1st place between adrift, ace man, The Statman, pat39, iksotam and drlog147, which was resolved firstly by looking at the frame difference between predicted and actual scores:
adrift 1
ace man 1
The Statman 2
pat39 2
iksotam 2
drlog147 2
and then the highest break predictions were used for the tie break:
Actual: 139
adrift 138
ace man 134
Therefore, provisional congratulations to adrift for winning the round.
Please note also that Looki gained a bonus point (not included below but marked with a *) for correctly predicting the highest break of the round, which was 139 made by Ronnie O'Sullivan.
