Below are the workings of the results of the Semi-Final Prediction Contest for the UK Championship. Unfortunately I don't have the HBs for the semi-final matches yet (if anyone has them please PM me!). Even so, the results below show the 5 entries that are tied for 1st place so far...
Please check your score (and anyone else’s as you wish) and report any queries within 48 hours of the date/time displayed at the top of this thread. Any queries raised after this time will not be considered.
A quick reminder of the scoring for these longer matches: 2 points for the correct winner and scoreline; 1½ points for correct winner and scoreline one frame adrift; one point for the correct winner with other scoreline.
There was a five-way tie for 1st place between
Freddie Ng
highlander69
HunRon
Giggity1984 &
montoya10
all with one exact prediction and with the other semi-final one frame adrift. Obviously this can not be resolved by looking at the correct number of match winners as they all predicted all SF winners and the frame difference between predicted and actual scores are alll the same. So, onto then onto the highest break predictions....
TO DO!!
Therefore, provisonal congratulations to XXXXXX for winning the round, as the highest break predictions was only X points out.
Please note also that XXX and XXX gained a bonus point (not included below but marked with a *) for correctly predicting the highest break of the round, which was XXX.
