Nothing really, my club ain't open still so I won't be playing till that opens, work basically. I don't really play anyone regular cause I don't play full time, I work and play snooker around work u like pretty much every other pro.

No, too much messing around with cues trying to find 1 I liked, I was starting to play well just before lockdown, got the cue I was happy with and was playing really well but lockdown ruined me really, basically didn't practise for the world at all, 3 days before and that was it. hopefully the new season won't start till maybe early September and I'll be able to get like 10 days practise or something like that.

We all know that he likes a new cue , but after playing like he did it seems strange that he has changed cues again .
He hasn't changed for the world but is planning to change after the world

In that 3rd frame Tom Ford missed a red that let Trump in and look like he would take it. Sounds a bit wacky but why didn't Tom just hit the yellow with the red to send it (the yellow) back down towards the black. Judd needed 2 blacks with the reds and with 1 red in baulk (the one that just hit the yellow) and the yellow now down by the black it makes trumps job just about impossible.

I sometimes see situations like this but pros never do it - professional pride?

Cheers for the reply Fraser , hopefully your club will be open soon and you can manage to get in as much practice as you can .

Also , thanks for confirming Maguire's cue........wonder if he will change it if he wins the World Championship
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

Tom Ford now has a pretty healthy lead against Judd Trump. I wonder if this is going to turn into a classic game of two halves and Trump will come back all guns blazing this evening, or if Ford can hold it together. Thoughts?

I'll add one point to this though. I think it can turn into an advantage for Kyren if he makes the later stages. If he is into the final he could obviously be a lot more fresher if his opponent if he had a lot less frames to play (which isn't automatically given of course).

Government announced no crowds now for the weekend at least. What a mess. Gutted for Anthony Hamilton.

At 5-3 i think both will be fairly happy. Judd was was 3-0 down, but might be a bit disappointed he didn't push on when he got it back to 3-2. Tom Ford would have been delighted woth 5-3 before the match, but probably would have felt a lot more comfortable 6-2 going into the second session. As it is, I'd fancy Judd to come though, but if Tom Ford gets a good start who knows

Those missed chances in the last frame can come back and haunt Tom Ford badly.
