  • How come matches aren't starting at the sharp time they are scheduled for? one good thing about snooker is unlike tennis, no matter the event the match would start at the exact scheduled time.

    • Dominic Dale just mentioned on Eurosport that Jimmy White had to ask Jamie Clarke to stop moving in his eye-line at an earlier tournament. Take from that what you want

Great, but i'm pretty sure i can't do that, the bbc website streaming is more probably regional only to UK and i'm in Belgium.
Happy to have the tv channels though so i saw it on bbc Four.

I believe i watched that on tv channel Quest last year, could have been another but i did see some of the matches, wouldn't have missed Hendry - White.

They do start on time in all the Chinese and continental European events, but the BBC takes huge liberties in all of the events they cover, and for some reason the organisers go along with their crap and delay the matches until all the studio stuff is finished.

yea I've been noticing that only at current WC.

Oh, you could be right. I just remember watching some kind of seniors tournament on one of the old Kodi channels (when that was still a thing), and the picture quality was atrocious. Michaela Tabb (long after she 'retired') was refereeing and Virgo was the compare. It may have been something else altogether.

Perry too. I think he had a white beach towel for that one.

                            • Nice finish from O'Sullivan. I think Ding lost the match in the first two sessions, as he really should have had a lead going into tonight. I don't know... O'Sullivan missed quite a few balls and hit some thick safety shots where he clashed into the reds, so I think he will need to raise his game for the business end of the tournament. The draw couldn't really have worked out any better for him with Ding and Williams, but a best-of-33 against the winner of Selby-Robertson could be tough for him if he plays like he did in this match.

                              • O'Sullivan can bore me, frustrate me and make me laugh hard in equal measures. That interview just now sparked the latter. I shouldn't laugh at his comments about the lower ranked players, but... well, I did.
