Kurt's most consistent feature over the years has been his inconsistency. Long way to go, but I don't know if he's capable of performing for two weeks straight in the longer format.

Yeah, Wilson-McGill could be a really close tactical game, so I wouldn't give up on that prospect just yet. But I agree with the sentiment, before today I fully expected the winner of Trump-Wilson to reach the final, and I would have said the same for the bottom half as well. The winner of Selby-Robertson would have been the clear favourite for me, had it not been for the surprisingly strong performance from Williams this afternoon.

I keep meaning to ask this but always forget. When Hamilton pulled out, couldn't they have had some system in place to pick out a replacement? One of those who failed to qualify, for instance. Not sure how it would have worked (maybe throw all the non-qualifiers names into a hat or something).
