Shows what I know the semis has four players that I thought couldn't win it two who aren't good enough one that was good enough but was burnt out and one genius that can't concentrate for a full fortnight. I'm very lucky I don't gamble.

Once we get to the final tell me who you fancy winning it and I’ll stick all my dough on the other player
So Ronnie's finally got his 6th, he offered plenty of chances to most of his opponents but nobody was able capitalise on them. Selby should have taken advantage while he had the chance, but he was far too cautious and negative.

The fast and the furious,
The slow and labourious,
All of us, glorious parts of the whole!
Thought Ronnie was mentally gone against Selby. He was definitely gone during the evening session against Kyren but you have to hand it to him, he found a way .
Shame the final session was only one frame but Ronnie was completely different with his post match interview than he was in the previous interviews. The way he spoke and praised Wilson sounded like he had been giving it some thought and it showed with how he spoke and it sounded sincere. Very different to his interviews earlier in the tournament where he would frequently use the cringe worthy phrase "ya know what I mean?" I knew that was all a plan and if he had been the loser he would have been more honest with his comments instead of being silly. The type of player he is I wouldn't be surprised if he wins a 7th or even 8th world title ten years from now but I would like to see him become a regular on the BBC studio and commentary scene.
What do you think about him joining or surpassing Hendry? Seven years since his last one and he's not getting any younger.

I always thought age was negligible in snooker , hendry for example came into pro snooker and enjoyed the fruits of the back end of essentially an exhibition tour where it was a little easier to get wins and win tournaments , same with the ‘ class of 92 ‘ so the media (((( my old mate david hendon )))) and co jumped on the bandwagon of this ‘ new age ‘ , it never really was a young man’s game imo , especially the way the tour entry has been set up since the early 90’s , i mean how many keen amateurs at the q school would want to play 49 year old rory mcleod , no reason at all to suggest o ‘ sullivan can’t equal and surpass hendry’s 7 imo , just wish he’d be a bit more like say john higgins in interviews and just stfu
So what happens next? How many tournaments will there be in season 20/21? Anyone heard anything? What will the format be? There was a suggestion at one time that all Chinese tournaments would be cancelled. Lots to sort out for Barry Hearn.
Maybe they could have an Asian Tour for Asian players and a European Tour for European players?

The humid conditions played a huge part in the championships, tables were slower, the pocket jaws more grippy and the balls were contacting a tad thick due to moisture in the atmosphere.
Most shots that were missed were missed thick, there were a lot of kicks, Ronnie changed chalk against Williams and tried Taom but went back to Master 'cos his cue ball control was lacking and he miscued a couple of times.
I said I'd never watch Selby again but my mate txted me that Ronnie was chucking his cue out of snookers and that the match had gone to a decider so I watched the last frame, loved it and Selby's face and moaning after the match I watched the final three frames on youtube the next day and thought Ronnie simply wasn't prepared to play any frames for the extra twenty minutes of grind that Selby wanted in order to extract Ronnie's focus, so he (Ronnie) left it to the run of the balls, if he got lucky then OK, if not then OK and on to the next frame, and it worked.
Someone in the BBC studio said that cloths used in the far east were different because of the humidity out there but they weren't used at the Crucible, good! it brought them down more to our level.
Speak up, you've got to speak up against the madness, you've got speak your mind if you dare
but don't try to get yourself elected, for if you do you'll have to cut your hair

With Jamie Clarke and Ashley Carty retaining their tour places for next season by reaching the final stages of The World Championships it means that Ken Doherty does not receive a second Wildcard invite to the tour next season, which means Ken as now decided to retire from professional snooker, unless World snooker decide to give him a second wild card to the 2021/2022 season.
Ronnie O' Sullivan seven times the record breaking Snooker Master
I think Mark Selby probably regrets his statement about Ronnie's shots being "disrespectful". When Ronnie threw his cue at the Pink he affectively gave the frame away. All snooker players know when your Opponent does this you've got them where you want them. After match interviews of the loser are great for the broadcaster, not the player.

Its pretty pig headed to believe that your opponent should play their shot, the way that you want them to.
Not forgetting how Selby and other players deliberately play on needing loads of snookers against the more fluent players to put them off their stride.
