I've heard enough of Yates, Stud & Hendon to realise that the players with them don't have any conversation or debate with them. It's as if it's a kinda 'not suffer fools gladly' mentality and they love working with other players but on non BBC channels they are seen as if they are only in it for the money.
BBC only have players or former players doing commentary IIRC

I've always thought the players like David Hendon tbh. Many of them have done his podcast as well. Joe Johnson has had a lot of mocking from players on twitter. A few have also said they've missed Willie Thorne this season, surprisingly.

no I'm not...blimey am I not allowed an opinion on here? Contrary to your opinion I am a fan, I just get annoyed when I see a tournament more or less being easy for Ronnie to win. let's face it, he's going to win this one easily. I think he only does the Welsh Open for BBC Wales now. Stephen Hendry has been fairly vocal at times about how it was a mistake getting rid of him. Mark Williams too.

No, no - it's really more to do with Trump being tossed out than the fact that it was Wilson who was responsible. I'm not exactly a great Wilson fan either ....
