I'm sure he is happy that O'Sullivan is out, but the tournament still sucks. Something along those lines.

No, but I too will be watching. I'll be torn watching this one as I like Tom Ford and would like to see him going deeper like this in more events.

Why was he banned? Surely not just for post #66?

Oh well, what can you do. He was a bit grumpy, but it's sad to see another new member bite the dust.

            Cheers Neil.

It seems to be a shootout between ROS and Wilson for the #16th spot which is currently Zhao Yuelong, who is out. Wilson is 11k ahead as of R2. Just something to keep an eye on.
I guess you are talking about the Players Championship, which will feature only the 16 best players of the season. O'Sullivan is currently 20th in this list, but he can still get the points at the Welsh Open or the Shoot-Out (if he intends to play this) to qualify for the tournament.

That was a lovely break by Dott to get a 5-4 lead.

It certainly was. Graeme played some wonderful snooker tonight, really pleased to see him on form again. It's funny isn't it, sometimes the best snooker can go under the radar, not so many spectacular recovery pots (A la JT) because the cueball was so well controlled, it can look boringly easy. Not to say he didn't give us a few fireworks along the way, there were a few shots there that Judd would have been proud of for sure.
I'd love to see him continue this form and win another WC this year.

                    • Graeme is paying some great stuff , but Robertson appears to be the man in form at the moment and he should be too strong for Wilson . Would like to see Dott win it though .

They said that before his match with Higgins. I hope Robertson's too strong as I don't enjoy watching Wilson play, but you just never know.

                          • Graeme seemed to wilt a little after the foul shot call by the ref, but it was a foul and that's what you get when you wear your dad's 'hand me down' clothes
Robertson looks unbeatable though, can't see anything other than another title for him on sunday, probably lose now I've put the hex on him; see how I've spelt lose with only one 'o'.
Speak up, you've got to speak up against the madness, you've got speak your mind if you dare
but don't try to get yourself elected, for if you do you'll have to cut your hair

                              • Just looking at the latest rankings I see that the players who lost in the first round, E.g. Selby, Ding etc, don’t get credited with any ranking points. They still pick up a cheque for 5k but it doesn’t count for ranking purposes. Seems a bit odd but I suppose it’s odd in the first place that this is a ranking event when it’s only open to the top 32 players. Strange.
