That would be '80s soul' of course, I bet trains is a huge Marvin Gaye fan.

i was more of a metalhead but recently got an earwax blockage in my left ear , now i've got a complex about listening to anything loud and just stick to classical music and the odd bit of news / current affairs , should delve into radio 4 a bit more too to feel a bit more cultured and get me away from ronnie posters
I was doing chores around the house while the Selby / Vafaei match was on so didn't sit through the whole of the 60 minute frame but I bet during a long frame like that the player who wins doesn't care how long the frame takes as long as they win it. Mark Selby has tenacity to be able to dig his heels in and not do anything careless during a long exchange and secure the frame. It's just like a Chess game and very long frames like that can be good for coaching.
The ref saying "if you gotta go you gotta go" when Mark Williams asked if he could go to the toilet while Ricky Walden was at the table and then you see Mark with that look on his face as he rushed out. When you've been stuck on the motorway for hours and finally get to a services toilets you know that look

And then when you get there, try as you might, you can't go!....

The fast and the furious,
The slow and labourious,
All of us, glorious parts of the whole!
And then when you get there, try as you might, you can't go!....

The scenario I was thinking of there would be no chance of that because it's been building up to the point of not making it in time especially when you see that toilet sign and know you're so close. The knowledge you will soon be in heaven.....
What is in the rule book regarding players needing a toilet break mid-frame? Like the ref said when you gotta go you gotta go and it was funny how Mark asked for permission although part of it was probably out of courtesy because Ricky was at the table. Is there a provision if a player is doing it repeatedly and what punishment can the ref impose? Docked frame? No toilet breaks for the next 10 sessions? No toilet breaks ever? Have to play blindfolded?
or constantly moan about the same player for about a decade now on this forum , especially when kyren wilson was playing kurt maflin on the other side , that would have sounded like a pretty good match , a world championship quarter finalist against the world championship runner up , do you see what i did there , i just posted about one of the matches that were on tv to watch today .
Well two things here ,I’ve only been on here about a year ,not a decade ,and also I don’t dislike Mark Selby .spoke to him last year and a nicer bloke you could not meet .My point being is when he plays fluently with confidence he looks like the player he was when he won his World titles ,he also played like that recently when he won .Anyone that plays this fiendishly difficult game knows that being negative can really screw you up and it’s hard to get out of a rut .Maybe Selby should have Beaten Osullivan at the Worlds if he had played with a bit more confidence in the latter stages ,but we’ll never know .We all have our own opinions ,and we all talk bollox sometimes ,so no disrespect intended
OMG - you just made me remember something i'd forgotten, old Jack went onto "HOW" after this didn't he!?
not sure , i associate how more with fred dinenage , even though out of town came into being before how how was actually more before my time because i don't think they repeated it or it went on as long as out of town .
