I forgot all about it. Got up this morning all excited about today's matches, looking forward to DD trouncing Judd tonight....

          It's rubbish

I would love a classic TBH balkend but my specs are different, Flaf is a nickname All my Scottish cousins call me, it's a slight abreviation of my surname
Snooker is a game of simple shots played to perfection, Joe Davies

but was it the first time they played players ranked 113th - 128th , so upsets not very likely apart from lee walker nearly beating murphy , i'm actually in favour of it though as it means less likelihood of matches on the bbc only lasting an hour , the only possible overly one sided round 2 matches i see are ding's and o sullivan's .

Anyone think Lee Walker looks like J Higgins down on the shot? Until he actually strikes obviously which takes twice as long. (he should take on Higgins pace he would do better)

his record is strangely poor , same with andy hicks , different sort of backgrounds to jimmy white though , you can see both walker and hicks going to q school and doing well , would jimmy finally play there , hmm...., i don't think he'll beat zhou youlong but he's beat o sullivan in the noughties in the masters so you never know....

I turned the snooker off on O Sullivan’s game as Joe Johnson never shut up ,talking all the time ,even having conversations with Hendon ,just rambling on and on about any old rubbish ,I wanted to kick the tv in .Johnson does not need to whine on all the time on every shot and between shots .Someone should make him watch a few matches from the 80’s and listen to Jack Karhnam .Neil Foulds is good ,Johnson needs to be fired .

                    • I quite like listening to Joe compared to some others.. although he does praise a lot, especially when commentating on Ronnie. “Oh that’s an incredible shot” “another wonderful shot”.... errrr he just broke off Joe.... . If he could tone down the superlatives a little, and some of the babble I think he could be a really good commentator.?

                      • I like Joe but agree he talks too much as if he has to fill the silence with babble. I miss the days of when the commentators would be quiet for a few shots especially when a player is on a break. I hope John Virgo is involved this week.

                        • Why does the canned applause sometimes sound nice and crisp like a live audience, and then an obvious recording at other times?
"Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"

                          • No Hazel again. Has her contract with the BBC been terminated or something?
