Whats with posters on this forum constantly moaning , its probably why Odrl left , we get it selby is seen as negative , who cares watch another match then this isn’t 1982 or is it ? half the members here probably think bill werbeniuk’s still in the top 16 !!

Probably be better if they dug him up and he started playing again ,if Bill played Selby he’d probably feel better going back where he was .The point being Selby is good to watch when he’s confident ,I’ve had more fun at the dentist than watching him play like this .Maybe the players seem boring these days as there is so much snooker on tv ,a few years there wasn’t the event s we have now ,with out Trump and O’Sullivan this game would be on its ass .There are a few exiting players coming though but most are not really in the top flight yet .

This is how you feel. Of course some will agree with you and that's fine, but it's very narrow minded to assume that your point of view is shared by everyone else, this is demonstrably not so. There are of course lots of people on here and throughout the world who enjoy watching players other than Ronnie and Judd. You may not like this, but however much it annoys you, you know it's true.

Look how well Selby played in the end of that match, great to watch, especially when forced into taking a pot on! Its seems he needs to be forced to take a pot on to play positively... I've seen it with him so many times where were i think this is how Selby should play more often, then he goes back in his comfort shell.

He reminds me in some ways of my father in law, who is a grumpy bugger by nature and never wants to go places and enjoy himself, but when you get him out, funnily enough he always does enjoy himself and he's good company too...

we can talk about breakthrough's like maguire's at the uk or murphy's in the world's but i'm not sure these players overly need a breakthrough when they're getting all the word you used ringcraft they need , and that word can be a bit unrealistic when there's so many good players now , jack lisowski has been a pro for about ten year's and has never really made any comparable breakthrough , and just to use more seasoned pro's like hawkins or perry their record in terms of tournament wins over the last decade is very modest , i'd say ' breakthrough ' now is regularly being a last 16 or 8 player in tournaments as opposed to the nineties when the ' big three ' o 's williams and higgins broke through .

i don't know whats entertaining about trump other than he has an aesthetic sounding name , and o sullivan and trump to a lesser degree both have seen it done it and bought the t shirt , i don't know whats to see with them , the idea that the game would be on its ass in reference to the 126 other players is tbh just silly , a lot of youtube posters ( i'm not saying you're that type because you clearly know about tables ) are like that , watching snooker is an acquired taste , it was in 1982 as well , lets try to maintain tsf a touch better than youtube

or constantly moan about the same player for about a decade now on this forum , especially when kyren wilson was playing kurt maflin on the other side , that would have sounded like a pretty good match , a world championship quarter finalist against the world championship runner up , do you see what i did there , i just posted about one of the matches that were on tv to watch today .
