  • Well done Neil, never in doubt!

    • Wow what a finish. I'm happy for Robertson! 5th major. It's about time he won one again - as a fan of his I want him to catch up to Selby. Stlll a long way off though.

It was good to see Trump is human again.

      • Amazing stuff! Great words as well from both players. Judd is gutted...haven't seen him like that ever before. What a match!

        • I would've butchered that pink, too, Judd...

Impossible to say, due to the inflation of the number of tournaments, but I think he would be 7th in terms of career achievements since the ranking circuit started in the early 80s.

Well he's joint 6th on the ranking title wins and 8th with major wins. I personally think he's 7th overall in the modern era as things stand - behind ROS, Hendry, Davis, Higgins, Williams and Selby. He needs to start clocking up the majors to threaten the top 5 because there is quite a gap between them and him.

just curious how would you close out the top ten or even twelve

                    • I would agree with Ronnie's tip's list, but I think the one comparison that matters the most is with Selby, since they are roughly the same age.

+1 to all of that. Felt for Judd, he really did seem shot, very magnanimous in defeat though. What a brown!
See Neil, that was better than getting to level 98 of CoD 12 wasn't it? Glad you finally came to your senses.

                              Off the top of my head, I'd go;
                              1. Ronnie
                              2. Hendry
                              3. Davis
                              4. Higgins
                              5. Williams
                              6. Selby
                              7. Robertson
                              8. Trump
                              9. Ding
                              10. Murphy

Jimmy White just misses out and if we go back a bit further, you're obviously looking at Ray Reardon and Alex Higgins, but the 70s are difficult to compare. That's just my view though, others will differ.
