Ronnie is a genius and great for snooker ,but he looks like he is just trying too hard for attention ,with biting tips off in front of cameras repeatably ,stuffing his face with crisps ,please Ronnie stop trying to be Alex Higgins .As for Ding ,he has all the talent and all the shots but no passion or flair ,there’s just something missing with him ,he should have hammered O'Sullivan.

If it's the rebellious anti-establishment image he's after, I don't think eating crisps at his post match interview is really going to cut it. One thing he does have in common with Alex is that he's becoming something of a pathetic figure and I mean that in the literal sense.

Jamie Jones is doing well since returning to the tour, anyone know if he has been seeing anyone to work on his game?

Not that I've seen anywhere. I think I saw a while ago that a firm donated him somewhere to keep his table and practice, which was a nice gesture given he must have been skint. He mentioned when he returned to the game that he had being mowing grass for the council during his ban, which can't have paid much, but probably better than moping around. Hope he does well, I think he was harshly treated.

Mark. I agree. I think he got a raw deal. The ban cost him his place on the tour finishing just outside of top 64..

Not even just the ban itself. The headlines that ran in the press 'Jamie Jones in match fixing scandal' kind of thing, were so misleading for the 99% of readers who just saw that and didn't do their own research. He says he had people coming up to him daily asking how many games he'd fixed. Can't have been easy. Glad he kept himself busy, worked hard, and got himself back on the tour. Win here would be a nice bit of closure on the whole thing.

yes, he was found guilty of "not reporting" advances, NOT for fixing matches himself; a very difficult place to be put in.
Being tarnished is very difficult to get away from (just see how some people still accuse - falsely - John Higgins of match fixing!)
The access to a good table (mentioned above) must certainly have given his game a boost and done well since being back on tour. Good luck to him

Just read on twitter that "...Kyren Wilson was involved in a car accident before his Scottish Open quarter-final yesterday. Car is a write-off but thankfully Kyren escaped unscathed, apart from a sore neck and back. It clearly affected his performance last night as he lost 5-1 to Jamie Jones."

Far from ideal pre-match preparation, sounds nasty. Why is it taking eurosport so long to sort out Joe Johnson's mic issue? Can't be doing with the other numpty so it's back to bet365 for me.

                      • Li Hang first two frames AST 21s
                        QF match AST = 29s

that's the way to do it

What about his long pot success rate?

Wishng Kyren all the best and a speedy recovery, I am glad he never blamed that on losing 5-1 to Jamie Jones, a few players would, but I don't think Kyren is that type of person, he also wished Jamie the best of luck in the rest of the tournament. Would be nice to see Jamie win after what he as been through, I think Eurosport have the full interview about with Jamie talking about his ban tonight, between the mid session interval.

Phil Seymour confirmed this earlier. He said:

'The Star logo changed last year so it has the writing in Chinese I believe'.
