So Selby won, glad I missed it, still there's another one starting tomorow. Is it just me or is there too much snooker on tv at the moment ? It used to be something to look forward to but now it seems to always be there.
Speak up, you've got to speak up against the madness, you've got speak your mind if you dare
but don't try to get yourself elected, for if you do you'll have to cut your hair

For me Barry Hearn ruined it. It's a sell out. They should do one event per month. At most.
Itv4 tourney I think, maybe Eurosport can show it outside the UK
Oh, right. Thanks. Just seemed odd for him to say you won't be able to watch it if you live in the UK, if he simply meant Eurosport aren't covering it. What, do they think they're the only broadcasters of sport or something?
"Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"

I kind of agree with you there ,Hearn rescued snooker ,but then sold it out as he gained too much control .Having the shoot out event as a ranking tournament is a joke .
Looks like I’m half a pack of Walkers crisps up!! Good job Selby won, I’ve already eaten the Pringles...
I am eating the top half of the packet before I send you your prize , Selby destroyed Ronnie , ouch ! he will feel that and be nursing his wounds for a long while. Selby got another dig in about the cue tip effecting
the quality of his play. You could feel the hate !

To be fair it's not Eurosport's job to advertise other tv stations.

There were some pretty ironic and almost toxic comments from Selby in his post match interview. About he needs a "new cue tip" and so on. Funny, but maybe not really necessary to put more fuel into the fire between those two.
I guess O'Sullivans behaviour and the loss in the World semifinal still sting Selby, which is understandable. But it seems that the relation between those two has been thrown back a few years after they had already reached a level of sincere respect for each other.

Not advertising other channels is one thing, outright lying is another. To state, categorically, that we won't be able to watch the WGP if we live in the UK was a lie. If I hadn't questioned it here I'd have taken him at his word and probably missed it.

Toxic? It was an hilarious comment and frankly deserved one for ROS, they don't call him the jester for nothing He even mentioned the cue action iirc ahaha.

I thought this, too. These two had put their dislike for one another aside and 'grown up' a little. Now they're back to the silly little school yard jibes and it seems most of it was coming from Selby. O'Sullivan will do what he does and say what he says, usually about his own game, but unless I missed them I don't recall any snide comments about Selby.
