Just heard Murphy's interview with Rob Walker where he said he's been staying at the Milton Keynes venue through multiple tournaments and never returning home, unlike all the other players who leave when they lose and then return for the next event. Does anyone know why it's different for Shaun? It surprised me a little.

Murphy lives in Ireland and with the hassle of travel due to Covid and not Being able to practice on his own table at the club at the moment ,he’s better off staying here ,and he can practice when ever he wants .

It was a shame Un -Nooh lost to Bingham ,he’s one of the few players that is great to watch ,if he could just sort out some of his strange shot selections he could be a big hitter in the game .At 35 years old he needs to knuckle down on his bad shots ,as he’s a handful for anyone when he’s on it .

Yeah, I was sad to see him not complete the comeback. I think once he got within one frame the pressure reversed. That pink was one difficult shot too many.

Daytime coverage has been disrupted due to BBC now showing learning programs for kids from 1pm to 3pm. Evening matches used to be shown on BBC2 but has now moved to the Red Button and the BBC Sports App.

I’m not sure about Robertson ,but Kiren Wilson seems to leave the arena after nearly every frame ,seems to one of his many habits now .
