I don't know, you seem to have issues watching Judd Trump, so you might want to skip watching snooker for the next 10 years or so

I find it funny that people hate Trump just because he’s winning ,it’s childish really .Trump plays entertaining snooker and shots not many can play ,even if some people think they find him above himself ,so what ,it’s up to the rest to get better and push the standard .

Mikee. Back in the 1980’s I hated Steve Davis cos he kept winning and was so robotic. Nowadays he’s one of my all time favourite players as I recognise that he took the game to a new level. In addition he is a gentleman off the table.

I feel the same with Hendry , it’s now I really appreciate what he did for the game and just how good he was .

This Trump era is the first time serious domination has happened Since Hendry ruled the 90’s ,not sure how long it will last but I think most of the players think if Trumps on his A game their gonna lose .I always liked Hendry and loved watching Jimmy ,but really Jimmy never deserved to win the World title with how he prepared and all that went on in his private life ,he should have won it at least once ,but it was all his own fault .

Agree with this. I'd put Neil Robertson even money in a longer match against Judd, other than that Judd would have to have an off day to lose against anyone else.

I thought Jimmy’s pink against Thorne all those years ago was good ,but from on the cushion at that distance with that top spin ,pretty amazing really .Bet Hawkins wouldn't be smiling if he knew what was coming next .

I’m going to be controversial here and say that he didn’t play to get position where it ended up . Yes he played it with extreme topspin to hold for the brown . Did he play to leave it in the exact spot it ended up , I don’t think so . I think he got a bit lucky with the position but still a great shot to put that amount of spin on the ball while playing at distance off the cushion .

I’ll put my tin hat on ...

Just watched Steve Bartons video Starsky, think I will give Judd the benefit of doubt, He meant that all the way
Snooker is a game of simple shots played to perfection, Joe Davies

I still stand by what I said, all Steve Barton is doing is replicating where the white ended up. The question is did Trump play to put it in that exact position in the first place ....

Now that shot Trump played when he checked the ball to get position in a previous game /match is a better shot in my opinion...

I think it's unlikely that a player with his ability and experience didn't know what he was doing when he took that shot on, for it to finish where it did, if unintentional, would be one hell of a coincidence. I think it was a deliberate exhibition shot, one he's probably practised/played around with many times before. Hard for us mere mortals to contemplate, but I reckon Judd knew exactly what he was doing there.

However, I don't think he meant the 'white off the middle pocked jaw for position' shot in his recent 147 attempt in, what was it, the World GP? Can't quite remember, either way, not having that one, he sounded, shall we say, disingenuous when calling it in his PMI. I think he intended that one to go around the angles off 3 or 4 cushions.

                              Also donning my tin hat.

There was a shot Alex Higgins played when the frame was won ,which was slamming the object ball in to the corner pockets hard ,jumping the ball out the jaws ,then It ran down the rail between cushion and wooden freeze and dropped in the middle or opposite corner off the top of the table ,there is at least two examples of this on YouTube .this shot looks flukey but Higgins knew what he was doing ,and he did it or tried it often in exhibitions ,often the ball would leave the table and fall to the floor ,but if you know the table and it has a clean un damaged rail the shots on .Judd seems to have these amazing shots that he can do just like Higgins and White did .Recreating them on YouTube with Break from life and Steve Barton’ is one thing ,getting them first time is another .
