I’ve only dipped in and out of this comp and it’s my first time watching . Can somebody tell me what happens if the player doesn’t take the shot in the 10 secs please ?

Is it four or five point foul? McManus said something about irregular fouls being 5 points.

all USUAL fouls are four points or value of ball on if greater; EXCEPT
1) where no ball is potted or hits a cushion
2) Time Foul (not making a stroke within the allotted time;

...then it is five or value if greater penalty points
"irregular foul" mentioned by McManus - a foul not normally associated with the the normal format of snooker

I have never seen a left ear dominant player

I think it was Graham Miles (but I could be mistaken) back in the day who did similar, right handed player playing under his left ear - so much so that another player mentioned that if he went any further he will cut his ear off

I just looked through all the years and indeed those 16 points are the lowscore so far.
It's one point less than between Ryan Davies and Sunny Akani (10-7) in 2019.
