Yeh, TBH he was never quite there in this match was he. Fought hard though which was good to see. Smurf showed determination I've not seen in him for some time.

I was very disappointed with MJW's lack of fight today, I know Selby was playing well but that's no excuse to just throw the towel in. He clearly was not interested in coming back this evening, not even to play for his fans and a bit of pride.

I can't really pick a winner for either semi final, and the bookies won't be getting my money this year. Whilst on the face of it there are 4 players here I would go out of my way to watch, these are the kind of match up which often run close with a lot of drama. I'll go for the following:

Selby 17 Bingham 13
Wilson 16 Murphy 17

Not because of any particular dislike for either player, but I think a Wilson/Selby final could be a slog, and potentially end up quite one sided, so hoping for any of the other permutations
