Mark J Williams , the only real big character left in the game , such a grounded and great guy , 46 NOW he will be missed more than anybody else in the game

Not a great line up really is it, two fat blokes, an undertaker and a robot.....

If I had to answer my own question I guess I'd probably have to choose Kyren even though I can't stand the shuffle shuffle rub rub routine, he's young and has worked hard.

( Another Murphy v Bingham final with a fair bit of niggle could be more fun to watch though )

Bet Ebdon and Dott are hoping for Selby/Wilson in the final, just so they can lose the crown of most tedious final ever (I actually enjoyed that final but am aware I am in the very small minority)

Like Murphy to win, his free flowing attacking game is entertaining. Selby has upped his pace around the table and is looking better for it.

It's a shame Judd lost, I like to see consistent winners to bring legitimacy to the game but it seems his form dried up in the last part of the season just like last year. Wonder why that is?


Been very impressed with the smurf this tournament though and totally unexpected given the season he has had. He has been hitting the ball so well.

Also, what the hell is Neil Robertson at the worlds? He has a mental block when he gets to the quarters.

Would like to see Selby win. I am not a fan of Kyren's game but do admire his determination. Still, I admire Selbys more and find him more watchable.

Would like to root for Bingham as he is very watchable when in full flow but for some reason I would struggle to accept him as a two time world champ.

Whose personality do you actually like though? I think from a distance it can be very easy to judge people on TV who you don't know. What's wrong with Kyren being proud of being a dad?

I quite like this semifinal line-up. All very good players and with 3 past champions and last year's finalist you can't really bemoan it. And especially now that Trump is out I can live with any of the players left as a World Champion.
I would be most happy for Selby as he is probably my favourite player. Second favourite would be Murphy, whom despite his only attack game I've come to like over the years. Least favourite would be Bingham. I actually quite like him, but it would be really strange to see him as a two time world champion.

In terms of what I think, who'll win it's hard to say.
If Selby keeps his form, then he will lift the trophy. But it's incredible difficult to keep that level and it will be especially tough with the pressure on him.
And if he shows weaknesses his opponents can well take advantage of it.
