Give him a break Billy, it's his second day in commentary box, he's got to find his feet, It's better than some numpty that hasn't a clue.
I thought he was okay as well, a lot more natural than a few others and less repetitive than the old guard (although I do like hearing what Patsy Fagan and Perry Mans are up to ). Think Jack Lisowski is doing a good job as well.
This is starting to remind me of the match between O'Sullivan and Jamie Cope in the 2010 Welsh Open. Cope was first in in every frame with some lovely shots, but they amounted to absolutely nothing as he couldn't make any break of note. Lost 5-0 in the end.
Good stuff from Murphy though, took full advantage.
I think Selby wins, but he's dragged Bingham through the dirt here.
Am I the only one who is loving Lisowski and Trump on the BBC? It feels so refreshing. I agree with some of Trump's pre tournament comments. BBC needs a shake up IMO. I can predict what the normal BBC pundits are going to say before they say it tbh.

Watching Bingham yesterday, I just had to love his enthusiasm and sheer enjoyment of playing at the world's in a semi final. Today started to look like watching a Dementor from Harry Potter suck all the life, joy , hope out of a soul. I hope Bingham has been practicing his Patronas spell during the break in play.
I'm not sure. Today will give him nightmares. Losing the final so badly last year must have hurt, because he was so outclassed. But giving up a 6 frame lead, that's a whole different proposition. Hope he bounces back, but players only get so many chances, and the pressure builds with every loss at the business end of the world championships. Personally i think he's lucky to have the record he has, he seems a level below the elite, particularly with his cue ball control which still isn't really improving.
That Selby - Bingham match was an all-time classic for me. Great breaks, great safeties and especially great tension. And finally the climax with a strong safety proving decisive.
