Yeah, but he's having quite a bit of bad luck you gotta say... he actually should've won this session five three, now he's desperate to level the score. Judd on the other had quite a run of the balls two or three times already.

    • Did I mention I love Anthony Hamilton commentating? So refreshing...

Hamilton has really settled into the commentator role . I thought he sounded a bit nervous to start with but has got better and better .
Seems like a new career is beckoning ...

Hmmm well 4-4 and Murphy will be due his good luck in the next session. Good stuff so far.

          • Such a fascinating, nervous first frame between Wilson and Robertson this evening. Loving it.
If Wilson loses this one it could be a painful blow though, as with the chances he had, he should have won it long ago.

These boys have the Crucible gitters bad.

Ha ha, too true. It's a bit much for me, the McGill/Bingham match is the better option this evening. I'm recording the other so I can watch it with the option of skipping through the drudgery

                • Yeah, Wilson especially is hard to watch at the moment.

                    • McGill is hitting the ball so well .... much better match than the Robertson v Wilson.

                        • Really enjoyed the mcgill/bingham session, top quality and setting the match up nicely for tomorrow. I only skipped through the snoozefest on the other table. Reminiscent of the Dott/Ebdon final, and I can't see it improving unless someone pulls away in the next session. Both players seem a bit overwhelmed by the occasion, which is understandable I suppose, bit surprising from Robertson.

It feels like Robertson is being pulled into scrappy games which isn't his strong point. Saying that he is missing some uncharacteristic balls along with bad positional play . Very weird that both players are playing like that at the same time.

                            • Robertson mentiond a week ago that he dosen't want to get pulled into other players games ,and he has done just that now ,he should be blasting Wilson off the table the form he's been in recently .Not sure what it is about Wilson ,I can't seem to watch him or take to him ,the constant rubbing his cue down and shuffling up to the table is annoying ,the interviews aint much better either .Mr Missionary position ,and a bit of a wet blanket .

I’ve seen a few interviews from him and personally I think he gets a bit of bad press as a person unfairly . He seems a decent bloke to me and his reaction when he fluked his semi final win last year reflected that. Yes he feels like a bit of a ‘Man at C & A’ ( name my favourite 80’s band for that one ) but I guess it takes all sorts .
I agree with you about watching him play though , just not my cup of tea and too coached and robotic for me to enjoy watching . I prefer players with a bit of flair to their game . There is no denying though that it works for him.
