Jimmy’s foul then. Is it at all possible he may not have felt that? Clearly feathered the cueball while addressing the shot and claimed he felt nothing. Mr Knowles wasn’t impressed.

Tony Knowles spotted Jimmy White fouling the red in the second frame when white had a 72 nil lead. The ref said he didn't see it , White said nothing ( very bad form , so much for the game being played by gentlemen FFS ! ) On playback Knowles was proved correct , White DID FOUL THE WHITE . White did not admit it and played on. at the time . Disgusting. Knowles has superb eyesight still

In Jimmy’s defence (no, it has nothing to do with my avatar) he had no reason not to own up as Knowles needed 4 snookers at that point. Hardly likely to lose the frame by admitting to a 4-point foul.

Exactly Billy , what possible advantage would he gain ?. Even if he could gain an advantage there is no way I feel Jimmy would do that.

Jimmy's cue looks great, looks a lot like his old classic custom from back in the day!

I saw Taylor was using a cue with a white ferrule like back in the day as well. I wonder if that’s his original cue ?.
If it carries on like this Knowles will have his photo taken after the game with a couple of semi naked dolly’s ...

                Lolz brilliant!

Last time I saw Taylor using that cue they said John Parris had made it for him and he loves it! ( Thanks JP cheques in the post!!)

Yes he had the frame won, but if Knowles spotted the foul from his seat its very likely White saw and felt it also , On camera playback it was almost imperceptible , Knowles was adamant he saw it from that far distance . For a guy of his age it was a great spot

I remember Ronnie fouling red balls with the rest head while removing the rest a couple of years ago. He was playing against a young Chinese guy . Think it was Luo Honghao . Nobody spotted it . Nobody said anything .

ps I hold Jimmy in the highest esteem and think its valiant how he keeps trying to play at the top level . I still love watching him play . I know some people think he should more over for the young guys . Long may he continue

Is there a certain age you have to be to play in the seniors, The Brazilian player looks like a spring chicken compared to other players and I get the impression he hasn't really be a pro snooker player that long.
Snooker is a game of simple shots played to perfection, Joe Davies

Over 40 and they’ve changed the criteria to pro’s ranked 64 or above this comp. Personally I think the age bracket should be moved up to at least 45 .

                          40 is the new 30

Great performance from Igor to beat Hendry 4-1. First time I’ve seen him play properly and he looks very solid. Hendry looked good in parts but too many loose shots. He also doesn’t seem prepared to change his game a little bit and play slightly tighter match play. Tbh that’s the only way I can really see him making any impact, but it’s not really in his dna is it...

I wonder how long he will continue before the frustration of not being able to play like he used to gets the better of him?!?

Just caught Barry Pinch talking about DT ‘retirement’. I sincerely hope this is only from playing and not him announcing he’s severing his ties to snooker altogether.

He looked very frustrated didn’t he ....I can understand how he feels!

The pro tour players have a big advantage in this comp over the non pro’s and I include Hendry as a non pro even with his ticket .
Igor will be one of the favourites for sure and I hope he does well as he has sacrificed a lot family wise.
