  • Ad breaks are annoying enough, but on ITV during the snooker they’re unbearable! It’s not so bad during a match because they’re only shown at the end of a frame, and only last a minute or so, but between matches it gets ridiculous!
"Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"

      • Rob Walker trying to show drama where there is none by introducing Stephen Maguire's post patch interview as 'angry' when Stephen was the opposite of angry. Frustrated maybe but definitely not openly angry and fortunately it then switched to Hendry and Foulds to give a more balanced take on the match and response from Maguire. I wish Rob Walker would stop treating everything like it's stop the presses time.

Yeah I'm not keen on him, to much fake over enthusiasm for me.

                    • re ross muir's bridge glove , anyone know why more players don't play with them , seems to make a lot of sense minimising friction , i remember having trouble with this a few years ago having to constantly wipe my hand and cue from a sticky cue

                      • Rob Walker is a bit over the top at times ........far too enthusiastic for his own good and has a tendency to shout too much . Too OTT for my liking .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

                        • Rob Walkers not my cuppa either, he'd be better suited as a gameshow host rather than sports presenter, in the mould of Leslie Crowther and Bob Monkhouse etc.

                          • Rob Walker is definitely highly "fuelled". I've been at The Crucible many times and even before he is on camera, he is hyperactive, doing lunges and acting pretty strange. He is probably on here reading this and all I can say is "calm down!" However, WST keeps him very busy so it must be working.

                            • He is a bit animated ,but he looks interested in what he is doing ,so I like him and he does a good job ,not a good commentator though ,he has no technical knowledge of the game so really no point him doing it .

                              • Any of you guys know when the draw is for the next round?
"It might not be on stats or titles but in terms of talent and the ability to play snooker erm......he's the best" Hendry's humbled words on Ronnie O'Sullivan.
