I listened to that lads pre match interview and like what he had to say, what a breath of fresh air he is! Looks wonderfully relaxed and composed around the table, no " rabbit in the headlights" eyes from him.

      One to watch hopefully.

He wasn’t chewing gum in that interview as well was he ?.
At one point in his previous post match one I thought he was going to start blowing bubbles .

The media training will sort that out in due course

I fancy him beating Mark King as long as he doesn’t get tied down in a tactical battle that is.

I was not a fan of that gum chewing. It seemed a bit disrespectful to the interviewer.

Lolz, no I didn't see that one! Nice to see confidence in an interview that's then backed by performance. Ollie Lines looked really nervous to the point of shaking in his pre match interview before playing Higgins, he tried to sound confident but really didn't look it.

Michael Georgiou was looking more confident till he met Ronnie again, Ron handed him the first frame on a plate at least 3 times and he was still struggling to take it. Didn't score at all in the next 4 frames. It would be great to see more young confident players at least having a bit of a scrap with Ronnie/Higgins etc, I'd rather see a confident player losing 4-2 but making a ton or one visit win instead of someone looking like they hanging off the edge of a building trying not to fall!?!

It's started to feel like watching Gladiator! " Bring on more slaves to be slaughtered"!!

Yes, that was superb. There is a new found confidence in him since his victory against the ballrun.

he reminds me of your compatriot pankaj advani , i wonder if he's thought about taking up billiards i reckon he'd be very good at it.

I met Pankaj Advani at the Wuxi Classic qualifiers at the South west Snooker Academy about 8 or 9 years ago. He was a really nice chap. We had a long chat about billiards and he gave me a few good tips.

                          • Frazz is looking good, and looking very comfortable and relaxed; often (to me anyway) he looks very stiff and tense, shoulders looking hunch and taut around the table, when seen on TV, but not today
                            Up the TSF! :snooker:
