The one thing Mark has that set him apart from others from a very early age (10 upwards) was a desire to win at all costs. He was one of the worst losers i can remember as a junior. I played him a fair bit back in those days and there were a few tears and tantrums
He may not be the best break builder but he has set his game up to compensate for that. That and his will to win is what’s kept him on the tour for all these years and not forgetting his match play experience.

Using a cue he bought from Matt Selt, Matt is a tall chap and the cue looked a bit long for him to me, upper arm pumping a lot on the feathers

IIRC Anthony said in one of the ES between-frame chats with Angles that he has borrowed the cue from Selt, not bought.
