Not as interesting as I'd hoped, Selby's all over the place, He's going to get whitewashed if he doesn't pick his game up soon.

      • Mark King's always an entertaining watch isn't he. He's been playing quite well lately, judging from the bits and pieces I've seen of him recently, hammering in some cracking pressure pots. We frequently hear pundits and pros say that snooker is a confidence game, well if that were completely true, King would have been a multiple world champion years ago, he always looks like he owns the gaf.

        • good match brecel vs fraser patrick , turning point was the fourth frame where fp clipped the pink on a break and brecel cleared up to go 3 - 1 instead of 2 - 2 , hope the belgian beats o sullivan tomorrow.

          • Well, one of them stumbled over the line, eventually. Well done Yan.

The one thing Mark has that set him apart from others from a very early age (10 upwards) was a desire to win at all costs. He was one of the worst losers i can remember as a junior. I played him a fair bit back in those days and there were a few tears and tantrums
He may not be the best break builder but he has set his game up to compensate for that. That and his will to win is what’s kept him on the tour for all these years and not forgetting his match play experience.

IIRC Anthony said in one of the ES between-frame chats with Angles that he has borrowed the cue from Selt, not bought.
                  Up the TSF! :snooker:

Yes, he was moaning about the tip in his Eurosport interview. He did compliment Fraser's tip fitting skill. Neil said, I would not change his tip if I were to play him next

                    • Judd missing a routine red. Should he have played it with the rest instead?

What a steal by King for frame 7 - by 1 point

                            • Judd fluked the red to win his first frame and rightfully so gave back a blue on the lip of the pocket for Mark to take the lead. Karma

Yeah. Looked like a temporary issue with my connection. It's back.
