Don't recall Ronnie disrespecting any of the top players past or present. He's called into question the way the sport is run at times - seem to remember a guy named Alex Higgins do that ... he's surely entitled to an opinion on that. And Ronnie doesn't need any tears from me.

Yeah, tights and trainers would be even more "practical"...
Wouldn't be surprised if they introduced flashy nickname lettering on the players' backs like in Darts. And capes and explosions for the entry."That pocket moved!"

There you go.
Displaywise they're turning snooker into a show for imbeciles, the only classy thing left in the game is the game itself. Guess I'm more of a traditionalist."That pocket moved!"

Think it’s just under 8 grand new ,yes it’s very similar to the Westbury ,it’s a stunning looking table .Unfortunately we’re stuck with Star for a bit longer as they have the main contract ,but Rasson do want it that’s for sure .
Trump needs to up his game dramatically tonight I reckon .

I think there is room for it personally but certain tournaments should still be the classic dress code.

Looks like I’ll be in the minority here. I don’t like the bamboo table. Give me nice piece of mahogany every time. Nice to see we’re back to having the rests in the normal place. Refs helping get the rests out and handshakes as well. COVID what COVID?

Snooker is suppose to be moving forwards? This table looks to old fashioned.

Judd never has been the brightest candle on the cake... maybe that pool trip to the US made him "think". Did Earl Strickland talk to him?
I'm pretty sure taking away one of the most unique features of the whole snooker "thing" - the gentlemen style thing - won't serve the game nor will it help "progress" to explore new markets. They tried that with the dotted ball or the shot clock, it all failed miserably. Snooker isn't darts, that whole razzmatazz approach does not work... but hey, maybe if they got rid of the refs and allowed the crowds to dress up, drink and sing."That pocket moved!"
