Snooker is suppose to be moving forwards? This table looks to old fashioned.
I think I prefer the square leg design on their other new table probably on the website, called sword || , it has a great sound to it, nice smack on the leather when a firm strike hits the pocket.

I don't mind the polo shirts, just not keen on the material, lookS alright on Judd but Stevie Maggs moobs were not attractive earlier in it.

Yeah the material isn’t flattering for a snooker player!

Now we know why Mark Allen pulled out and John Higgins been taking spinning classes like a madman...

Wow, the classiest thing I've heard on ITV for years, a bit of Steely Dan's "Peg" from the album Aja. I was just playing along to it a few hours ago.

I like the new table and dress code. I'd rather they mess with the peripheral stuff if it appeals to the younger audiences, which I can understand, and leave the game itself alone.

          -
          The fast and the furious,
          The slow and labourious,
All of us, glorious parts of the whole!

Polo: judgement suspended for me (I agree that keeping snooker "elegant" is important, but on the other hand the sport suffers if players are not comfy, and shirts are not best for playing... I could never ever play wearing a tie!) Perhaps dark trousers and polo with strict limits on colour (not fancy t-shirts like in pool) could be the compromise.

Still, I think snooker would appeal to the young much more if they scrapped the miss rule, which only favours speculative players and makes frames slower... aren't 4 points enough for a well put snooler when potting a red is worth 1?

I get it will be a massive distraction but he has proven that he can put that to one side after he won the NI Open.
It feels like there is a bit more going on with him than what’s been reported . I’m wondering if it’s more of a mental health issue he has which would be understandable given the stress of his situation.

I hope it all gets resolved whatever it is as he would be a loss to the tour i believe .

I don't think the table looks old fashioned ,its a two tone colour incorporating a bit of metal and the cushions are made of multi compound non scratch materials .Theres not much you can do to change what a table looks like unless you put naff coloured cloths on with logos like 9 ball .All the Rasson tables look better than the cheap plastic Star tables imo .

Table looks good to me and if it's not actual wood then that's fine for the rainforests and gives a new market for (hopefully) recyclable composite materials. It would be very difficult to fly tip a snooker table or find one inside a whales stomach
Polo shirts I'm fine with, could spark the fatties to do something about their appearance which would also be very good for their health, the MC is too much, those long drawn out vowells are rather pathetic, seeems like Matchroom are trying too hard to appeal to the american market.
One thing that I fear though is that soon a snooker player will turn up looking like Peter Wright somebody save me!

Judd played great last night, hard to tell if the Rasson has it's usual bucket pockets as he found the middle rather than the jaws.
Speak up, you've got to speak up against the madness, you've got speak your mind if you dare
but don't try to get yourself elected, for if you do you'll have to cut your hair

Yeah I had a look on the website later, actually from the side it looks much better, don’t like the bamboo colour cushion though and not sure on the massive legs. I still prefer the look of the Magnum. What I do like with all their table is the levelling system! That must be a fitters dream, so easy to make tweaks without disturbing the table by jacking it every time you want to make an adjustment. I’m all for that!

The table looks nice but what about long term durability when conpared to say a Riley or a B&W? I know its because of the deal signed. But I think quality should be given more importance.

                              800 100s ... and counting. Thunderous.

Nice match so far, Neill is looking sharp... his play, that is, still find the polo shirt fugly.

The polo shirt would be ok for pool but it detracts from the status of snooker as a more serious game and on a higher level . Draughts and Chess . Call me old fashioned but.....
