  • Just heard Foulds comment then on the table being low! Weird because earlier there was a camera angle of Ronnie stood at the baulk end and you could see his *cough* crotch area! Lol.. I thought bloody hell that table must be lower than the Star

        • Wow.

This kind of was like last years Masters... the demolition of Ronnie O'Sullivan by John Higgins. Kryptonite? John > Ronnie = Ronnie > Ding

edit: this years Master of course. I'm talking to you from the future

Not bluffing in any way. My comment about RO shaving his arms was a flippant reply to a previous post. But although flippant, I really did wonder why the UK’s would mean we wouldn’t have to see his hairy arms.

I think I’m just getting too used to these relaxed dress codes and it didn’t occur to be that the poster meant he will be wearing sleeves at the UK’s.

                    • Looking at the dimensions of the new Rasson Strong table ,the height is 850.00 mill which is as near as damn it 33.5 inches to top of the rail .snooker tables are all between 33 inch and 34 ,mine is bang on 34 .I suppose if you were picky you could set it up on half inch discs under each leg , but it’s pretty much a standard size really .

A player with 4 world titles hardly can´t be called an underachiever. He´s up there with the best of the game. It´s a bit like comparing Messi, Maradona and Pele. It depends on personal views.

I guess what I was thinking that he is SO good he should possibly be up there with Ronnie and Steve Davis on world titles.

                          PS Pele all day

I like what he said in the post match interview, he seems at peace with himself over his performance and quite rightly said, when asked about whether Higgins could win more silverware, that it's not him or Williams, Higgins has to worry about beating anymore to do that it's the Yans etc of the modern game he has to beat to do that.

John obviously really gets up for a bit of Ronnie bashing but we will see how he fares against Yan today. I reckon he really wants revenge on Yan so will play well again but he has to continue beating everyone not just old rivals.

I don’t really understand, or even like, that expression. Under achieved. What does it even mean in the context of a snooker player? JH is like every other player; he’s won what he’s won. Why does it have to be any more complicated than that?

Interesting. Ronnie must have been wearing heels! He definitely looked taller than usual around the table.
