I was thinking she looks like she’s wearing it for a bet ,or she’s borrowed it of Pennywise the clown

                  John's comments on Ronnie's interview.
Thanks for that fkhan. I think Ronnie has a point though, it must be very hard to make a decent living at snooker if you're a youngster/journeyman.

                  The fast and the furious,
                  The slow and labourious,
All of us, glorious parts of the whole!

Well done to Fergal O Brien also , a great member of the snooker fraternity for many years , nice to see a little bit of success coming his way , while his pre covid practice buddy ( "the portly one" ) has been hung out to dry by li hang

Well said PB, it would be very easy to blast Ronnie for that comment but I honestly believe he wants someone to take the mantle of supporting grass roots snooker so that opinion he shared can be changed. A challenge if you like!?!

I’ve been saying the same thing for years. It’s ridiculous that the snooker finances can’t provide a living for 128 professionals. It’s supposed to be a global sport ffs. Biggest problem I think is the lack of sponsorship. Unfortunately snooker just doesn’t have the right image to attract sponsors. Betting companies seem to be the only ones that are interested.
Heard some gossip that one of the reasons the Scottish Open being in Wales was because WST ran into problems getting the necessary approvals from Glasgow Council due to the fact it was sponsored by a betting company.

Higgins had a go at Osullivan in his interview ,because Ronnie said he would rather any of his kids do anything rather than snooker ,in fact he said he would turn them against the game .I don’t think he meant it ,it was just a veiled statement to have another go at the WPBSA

There is no harm in trying to excel at snooker from a very young age. But we all know how many make a living out of it. I always say, have a backup plan too.
