Does anybody know how many players in history have made two ranking finals in a row. I don't imagine it's that long a list.

Without checking, my guess would be somewhere around 15, maybe 20.

I would have set the O/U at about 20. I'm sure there are a few lesser players on the list that we'd be surprised by. Still quite the accomplishment considering where his game was a year ago. He's brimming with confidence and just expects to win close frames. Like that last one. Higgins in trouble.

This is impressive from Luca, just superb!! Higgins started off with some huge pots that suggested he would make a charge and comeback. But Luca doesn't seem to care what his opponent does, he has so much faith in his game right now he just knows he can deliver when he gets a chance.

Amazing how confidence plays such a part in this game, Luca is just riding the wave of confidence and it doesn't seem to matter what John does ATM.

A-HA! In the Eurosport Player, if you stream "Anotny McGill - Luca Brecel" you have the option "ambient sound" (no commentary and no commercials, just the sound of the balls and the players swearing), whereas if you stream "Scottish Open - E2 Coverage" you are forced to hear the commentary (and the commercials). Didn't know that.

Hadn't spotted this addition to the options. Thank you SO much for the heads up.

Great comeback attempt by John. He will surely win a title again. Luca played superb and with great composure in the last frame after that mini comeback.
