They were very hard snookers to make ,let alone to get out of ,and the fact Ronnie carried on to lay them was more amazing .Ronnie’s up for this one for sure ,if he loses and says he’s not bothered or it’s just a bit of fun , no one will belive him .Robertson must feeling a bit gutted to say the least .Comment

An average top 16 player will make a great safety maybe once out of every three or four attempts. I need to watch it again, but it seemed like Ronnie made a number of outrageous safeties in a row. I think he could have been a billiards world champion if he had taken up the no pocket version.Comment

It was the speed that he saw and played them, Selby would have had to walk around the table five times and point his cue at every ball. That first snooker behind the black was superb and to follow it with the one behind the green, safety masterclass.
