Yeah, but in the end quite an enjoyable match, I thought. I have come to peace with Kyren Wilson and started appreciating his determination and seriousness... that usually brings out the best in his opponents, too.
Like the way Neil took the final frame from him, with that nice little shot from green to brown:

Too bad that took away the possibility of another Judd vs. Kyren clash (I really like those), but I might settle for Ronnie vs Robertson, I guess

Working late shift this week so I recorded Neil v Kyren and watched it this morning. Table played slow, looks like a loose cloth to me, if Judd and Ronnie play on that one then I'd fancy Ronnie. No Selby this week but then again Yates is commentating can't win them all I suppose.
Anyone notice the small number of earpieces worn when Yates is yapping away compared to when Virgo is at the mic on the beeb.
Speak up, you've got to speak up against the madness, you've got speak your mind if you dare

The cushions seem to react somewhat spongy, too. And yes, I expect Ronnie to adapt to any table condition quicker than Judd, whose form wasn't there lately anyways. So, Robbo vs Ronnie for me, too.
Yates doesn't bother me to much, tbh, I tend to mentally mask his comments and listen to the pro player.

Yeah, no genuine Selby tormenting this week, that's a relief. Of course we still have Yan...

I have just viewed the live rankings updates on World snooker and I notice Ronnie O'Sullivan his the world N0 1 with 57500 points added to his Order of merit, Mark Selby World N0 2 as had 10'000 points removed from his ranking and Judd Trump 82'500 add to his order of merit, further down the UK and German masters Zhao Xintong as had 85'000 points and climbs to N0 7 on the order of merit does anyone know where these points have come from because I thought points were removed from ranking tournaments two years ago.

Yeah strange. It could be a mistake from WST.

I thought Ronnie had to at least get the final of this event to take the number one spot .

As for the table playing slow ,it’s both of them so I would say it’s not a loose cloth but a slightly heavier one or a cloth with a bit more nap .World snooker use no 10 cloth of a large roll ,so whatever event they are at the tables have consistency during recovers ,this would explain both match tables playing a bit heavy .Strachen cloth can and does vary from time to time depending on what time of the year it’s made and who’s operating the machinery . not my findings ,Geoff Large told me that last time I saw him

                    Zhao +85000 = 80k German Open + 5k World GP

the reductions probably from 2020 Players Championship and maybe something else back then
off out now to hit some balls into cushions, will have a look later if you wish?

"Live Ranking" probably also include the 10K for appearing in R1 of Players Championship as guaranteed money.

Have a good game of snooker if you could, if you don't mind, it looks very strange and wrong to me with players receiving points and others having them removed, also it does not look like the shoot out points have come off from 2020 yet, because Michal holt as climbed two places to N0 37. As you stated it looks like that both World GP and German masters points have been added, still seems strange and wrong to me.

That was a truly great performance. Had a bit of run but deserved it the way he played, you make your own run when you play that positively.

Think that’s the best I’ve seen Ronnie play in years as far as consistency and focus goes .The tables are probably the slowest seen in years ,not a bad thing in my opinion .Thought Judds interview was very good ,no excuses ,he thinks he was playing well ,but hardly got a chance as Ronnie was really unplayable last night .
