Yes, he is a feverish chalker! And yep, I'm gonna say it (some may not like this!) As much as I appreciate his ability, I struggle to enjoy watching him play. He has a lot of talent but from a viewers point of view, the weak thumb on his bridge and the tongue poking out for concentration, then add the constant struggle with his trousers to maintain them at waist height is a real problem for me to enjoy watching him play the game!! Sorry Ricky, but it just isn't good viewing.

It really was. Great performance by Barry, Yan was scoring wildly. In a way that felt a bit like Ricky came back on MJW yesternight after the later scored 3 centuries in 4 frames.

Barry is 4:0 head2head against Yan now... that's what we Germans call a "Angstgegner"

That was brilliant!! Really liked the way Yan congratulated Barry with a smile at the end, no sour grapes after another defeat to him, just a warm appreciation of the good match they played. The boys definitely got class.

I agree , for somebody so young he certainly has a great attitude.
I have tbh , when I saw who was playing this afternoon on my day off from work I wasn’t that bothered about the match . I was pleasantly surprised that it turned into a great match .
