Why would he be better? He's 39 now, and struggling with injuries.
13 years experience of pro matchplay since then , i’d say he should be better , i’d say most top players are at least as good and harder to beat now than they were then , but i’m not sure about him , i’m mildly aware of his health problems but snooker is a relatively physically negligible game , i’d say hawkins for example is better now than then , why shouldnt walden be better ?
does Freeview have the BBC Red Button (RB) Channel?
channel 601 on freeview is the old bbc red button channel Dean. If you haven't got it then re-tune your tv or set top box.
Speak up, you've got to speak up against the madness, you've got speak your mind if you dare
but don't try to get yourself elected, for if you do you'll have to cut your hair
Listening to Neil Foulds after the first session, he doesn't understand Judd's body movement brings the cue back on line and if he doesn't move his body as much as usual or not at all due to tension he can miss anything. This is also where his extreme power comes from, everyone else is trying keep their body still while he doesn't have to.
Joe needs to capitalise on this but is missing too many easy balls himself, could go either way and probably will

I don't have Freeview hence me asking about it - hence me wondering what BBC 601 was
I have SkyQ and various streaming options
thanks for your concern though
'** or maybe I should say, I have never used Freeview, I may already have it but never used it

i suppose theres another way of looking at it as well , its no embarrassment to lose to joe perry playing pretty well , walden probably might be a bit dissapointed looking back at his resume from 2008 til now though.
Joe's playing like he deserves to win. I wouldn't mind seeing him win if Judd can't summon anything better than the mediocre performance he's put in so far.
Well chuffed for him!! Nice guys can win too and he deserved it based his his weeks play overall not just the last session. Great for a Ray Reardon style player to win that trophy.

I guess his demeanour and style is Reardon like now you mention it .
