It's nice to see Dominic get a win and keep his place on the main tour as well probably not the way he wanted to get through to the final qualifying round. I like Dominic he is one of the characters on the tour and very knowledgeable about the history of the game as well. I do hope he qualifies for the crucible but he will have a tough match against either Lu Ning or Lyu Haotian of China, but I think with the experience of the best of 19 frames I think Dominic will get there, I know Lyu has been to the Crucible twice before, but I think Dominic may just have the edge over him. I think if Dominic got beat in his first match and dropped off the tour I think he would retire and not bother going to q school and concentrate on commentating like Alan McManus because like Alan Dominic enjoys doing the commentary and is quite good as well.

i've just discovered flicking over to other matches on bet365 on the mini screen as soon as a stream on a match stalls , just about bearable , an element of the japanese game show endurance with clive james about it though.
