Andrew Pagett 108 versus Jimmy 114. Ian Burns 110 versus Marcu Fu 120. All ranked pretty close. Don’t suppose it matters much.
someone said on the other forum the 113 - 144 wasn't random last year , i suppose they do what suits them without bothering to inform , as that other person said it might be because some of the amateurs are seen as pretty good so probably better this way.

Neil loses his natural game when confronted with some tactical game-play. Could this be the reason why he hasn't won the WC yet?

One of the questions they asked the players today in the fun quiz was which player made his debut at the crucible as a seeded player both Mark Allen and Neil Robertson got it right, but there was another player who made his debut at the crucible as a seeded player can you name both players.

My bad. I forgot. Yes in 2010. I meant his 2nd World title since then.

I'm definitely for two separate threads, otherwise it will be a bit confusing. Since here is already talk about the Qualifiers, I'd suggest we take this as qualifier-thread? Might you want to change the thread title to it?

A few really interesting sections in this qualifying.

In section #3 there are Maguire, Zhou and Hicks, who had a few good runs this season.

In #4 Fraser Patrick starts against Michael White. Jordan Brown and Mark King are the top seeds there.

Ding Junhui has to play either Tian Pengfei, Lee Walker or Reanne Evans first (I think it will be Tian), in the decisive match it is Kurt Maflin, Robbie Williams, Craig Steadman or David Lilley.

In #11 you have Milkins, Saengkham and Cap.

#15 is a really tough one I think with Pang Junxu, Jamie Clarke, Graeme Dott and Gary Wilson all there.

I don’t think you can change the title. Maybe an Admin (Dean?) could help. Possibly block this thread and start a new one.

Then let's keep this one as the World Championship thread and start a new one for qualifiers.

yes i posted earlier about not wanting to cough up the train fare from London to watch the qualifiers but the judgement days , two days of eight tables all at the same time of intense quality snooker , thats hard to pass up , the train fare is nothing really , and i've never been , got to take the plunge sometime i suppose

I have renamed this topic for Qualifiers

Once the CP starts we can start a new topic

                            Thanks Dean.

I think there's a pretty good chance, an Iranian player will be at the crucible for the first time, as Hossein Vafaeis draw looks pretty favourable for him.

at least he is consistent with his comments - unlike someone else who says one thing to the media one second to the next
