Why doesn't John miss those shots against ROS? It's probably a pre-set attitude that players have even before they start a match.

".... and from this day hence .. he shall be known as CHOKER Higgins " that is the end of J Higgin's aspirations for another World title

Best win of Robertson's career?! Only if you have a really, really short memory. Come on, let's have some perspective.

Well done to Robertson , he’s been my favourite player for some time now .
Can’t really feel sorry for John as he has done similar comebacks in his career against other players.

Can’t see him cocking his leg in the morning to jump back on that spinning bike

That was clearly a question from an ITV interviewer trying to pump the contents of ITV snooker events: they show such a small number of tournaments on free channels nowadays that it was probably true: Robbo's best win of his "ITV career".

Having said that, Neil seems to be a slightly different player now - perhaps he has more bottle against the other heavy scorers of the game than in the past? Or maybe this is just my impression and the other top players are having a strange season, which makes Neil stand out. Yes, he looks ready for his 2nd title in Sheffield, but it's the third year in a row that I have this thought, only to be disappointed.

I'm sad for John, after so many finals he lost... who knows, maybe he will lift the most important trophy this year, against all odds.

Fantastic comeback from Robertson ,after the season Higgins has had ,chucking that one away may cause serious mental scaring ,he probably feels it’s impossible to win an event now .When Higgins let Robertson in to win the frame from 9-4 down he was smiling as if he was thinking “ohh well I only need one frame it’ll come soon “ .Johns good enough to win any tournament but he must be mentally gone now .

Didn't watch it, was hoping for a Ronnie/Luca final as I find both Robertson and Higgins more than a little boring, especially Higgins so called 'digging in' where he basically plays like Selby and takes an age over every shot. It was my mum's birthday yesterday anyway so I spent some time with her as she'd just recovered from covid.
Don't feel like I missed anything, just another long drawn out snooker match devoid of flair and invention, god I miss Alex Higgins
Speak up, you've got to speak up against the madness, you've got speak your mind if you dare
but don't try to get yourself elected, for if you do you'll have to cut your hair

That's a new one. Higgins gets lots of hate on here for various reasons, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone accuse him of any kind of slow play before.

Different story with Robertson in that respect, he's had some pretty infamous moments in the past.

both had 25+ seconds AST yesterday

both a little slower than their season average but then with £90,000 up for grabs, I think I would play a little slower!
