so just to clarify , you wanted to watch bingtao vs wakelin but you were watching lisowski vs stevens instead , yet you say you don't need it ? not trying to sound funny or anything , just trying to understand.

    • I wanted to watch Yan vs Wakelin on TV, but Eurosport only covered Lisowski vs Stevens, so I had to watch it on Eurosport Player.

Generally I don't care that much, because I watch most of the snooker on my PC anyway, but sometimes I do prefer to watch it on TV.

oh i see , it would help if i had any idea of what eurosport were covering either on tv or on their player , i don't , they've never really done anything for me from a taste or preference standpoint ever since i've watched snooker , i slightly prefer watching on my computer , i feel slightly more immersed in it that way but each to their own.

        • There is some additional value for me, since they cover all the cycling, some winter sports I watch, and occasionally something else too. The only sports I watch on other channels or services are basketball and athletics really.

          • Anyone know how I work out which match I will get, please? I have table two on Wednesday afternoon (27th April).

I know one of the matches is the concluding session of the QF from the Selby quarter and one is the second session of the QF from the Robertson quarter but no idea which is table 2. Or does it only get decided later?

Table 2 is always the bottom half of the draw. That means you will get Robertson if he comes through.

              • Table two was being jacked up yestaday half way through the morning session as the baulk line slate had moved and there was a ridge between the two slates and the ball was rolling off on it . it’s not even a surprise anymore this kind of thing .

I bet that cheap wood is creaking and splintering in our lovely Spring climate!! Cold in the morning warm in the afternoon, perfect for Star tables, Lolz! I can imagine them sounding like the UPVC soffits on the front of my house when the midday sun hits them!!

                  • On ES player, John's match has been replaced with Neil's. What happenning? Is it just a short break?

They were on Mid Session Interval and played the Neil match to fill time
                      Up the TSF! :snooker:

                        It's after 4 frames IIRC.

yes, 4 frames on top of the 9 already played yesterday, so a MSI after frame 13

My bad. I thought they ended at 6-5, yesterday. It was 5-4, actually.
