Just fantastic, 7 titles! I think he won that on how heavy he was scoring once got in. I actually enjoyed the tournament, I think it was a slight shame Williams didn’t make it given how he played, but that shouldn’t take away from Judd either who did very well to get over the line in that match.
Perhaps in the end it also made a difference how different the two semi finals were.Comment

Can't argue with this one, O'Sullivan won pretty comfortably in all of his matches. I did have a good feeling about him before the tournament started. As I said, I felt like he had been playing well all season, and the only thing missing was another title or two, and what better time to win one.
All in all, it wasn't exactly a brilliant Championship in terms of standard, in spite of what the centuries numbers would suggest. The conditions surely played a part, and there always seemed to be a bit more tension than usual. But at the end of the day, O'Sullivan handled it by far the best, as he usually does. It doesn't need to be all fireworks for him to still be playing quite well, which is not the case for Trump and a few of the others. I guess it's a few more years before these old-timers are relegated to the Seniors Championship then.
