Ng On Yee beats Ken Doherty in the decider and with the last pink by a fluke.

Was watching bits and bobs of Dean Young vs wen bo. During a game wen bo, who wasn't at the table queried whether a black would spot, the ref said it wouldn't, Dean Young then potted a red and the ref said 23. So what is Wen bo doing interrupting someone's break to query whether the black spots or not?
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

yep, this has been on twitter all night.
Not only did Liang ask the referee when Dean Young was down on the shot but he got up from his chair walked all the way to directly behind Dean down on the shot and spoke to Colin and then queried the black spot; good on Dean as he got up from his shot in surprise and then just slowly walked away without saying a word and returned calmly, got down on the shot and proceeded to win frame and match

let's just say that Liang is not liked on social media at the mo
I saw that Mark Allen said some years ago an experienced pro player did something very similar to him purely to disturb his concentration; best revenge is to win the frame/ and match

Ive never seen that before, what made it worse was the ref indulged him and got his marker out then they had a wee discussion about it. The ref should have told him to go and sit down and if he didn't he should have forfeited the game.

I also think the ref should have just confirmed black did not fit and to continue the frame...
effing sit down you so and so .... I would be thinking
I think Colin was a bit surprised as well TBH

I did not see that match with Wenbo today but if he played then his case's hearing might have been done. He was suspended IIRC.

his suspension finished some weeks ago so he is allowed in this event.

Jenson Kendrick is 9/1 with bet365 to beat Zhou Yuelong starting in a few minutes , Kendrick has looked decent thats worth it on an accumulator.

Rod Lawler was wearing an ABC Snooker logo on his waistcoat yesterday , does anyone know anything about or had any dealings with them , it looks a decent place to buy cues or accessories.

note - WST matches and sessions pages are not updating, I noticed last night there was a unusually long delay in updates from the Live Scores page coming over; so far today nothing at all
someone needs to push the plug back in

Very expensive, 24.5 k for a star table and 425 for two five foot dextra light strips that you could buy for less than 100.
Baize sports isn't bad for general snooker stuff.

a cracking result for Hammad Miah 4-1 against Ali Carter who was definitely off-key

Yes Dean, Miah is one of those players on the second year of their tour card so he needs all the wins he can get , and unlike Ben Hancorn who didn't get enough wins last season and got relegated , no matter what site that neglected to insert the sign ' amateur ' after Hancorn's name elsewhere.

I believe Ben was officially on the pro tour with a 2 year card for the 2020–21 and 2021–22 seasons so he would not have (a) by his name for those seasons
I hope he makes it back to the tour as I feel he is one of those amateur players that can make it - again
