I was just going to say the same Dean ……I really expect him to push on each season …but just doesn’t seem to happen.
for me , he’s a far far better player than his results show him to be .

Maybe he’s content with what he earns etc …. Or is lacking motivation/belief in his undoubted talent

really like watching him play , but his tv appearances are limited lately

I’m expecting him to go deep in a Tournament very soon

Gotta bo7 format for seeing lower ranks having a decent crack at the top 16, if they win the first frame it gets interesting, if they then win the second you really get to see the top players ability (or not) to use Thier knowledge and stature in the game. Glad they exist (bo7) also glad the WC format remains intact to let the cream rise to the top. ☺️

He said he supported Sam with some costs, hotel accommodation etc so that he could afford to compete. But went on to say that Sam didn’t turn up to practice on time etc so he felt he wasting his own money, that was the jist of it anyway.

It’s was funny because Jimmy & Ronnie were talking about him pre match and saying that he was a talented player but weren’t sure how well he was applying himself in his practice.

seems like another one of those stories where talent didn’t work hard enough! He did have the persona of a player who thought he was hard done by in the match and as we all know there isn’t really any such thing as unlucky, it’s just a bad mindset…

What’s the point in wasting your time as a pro trying to make it if your not applying yourself.

Both players would have been happy to see the video so why not???

They faff around re-spotting the pink for an age when it won't go on its spot but they can't take 30 seconds to look at video and make a correct decision? Unlikely a player will say he hit a ball unless he did imo.
