Can't understand some of the criticism being leveled at trump and white.

Trump had just lost to a player ranked very lowly and will rightly be annoyed given his record in the event. He didn't play badly, I just think his opponent did have a lot of run in the match and in these best of 7s that is all you need to win a match, or certainly set the pattern for the way the frames played out. Trump alluded to that in his comments, big deal!

Jimmy I have a little sympathy for. He's trying very hard out there and he nominates brown, ref for some reason thinks he said blue, no idea why the ref thought that, it was obvious he was going for brown. Not sure why Jimmy even needed to nominate his colour and of course we all saw the resulting exchange. I suppose it's made for TV though and they've all had some publicity out of it.

Thx Neil. Bit of an over reaction from Jimmy but ref shouldn’t have laughed.

Didn’t see the Jimmy match ,it’s not like White to lose his temper at the table .As for the Judd a trump match ,I think he was probably a bit miffed the way Hill kept walking up ,down and around the table every other shot ,probably knocked him off his stride a bit .Apart from the first two frames it was a scrappy match with the balls pretty messed up ,Hill played a bit better I suppose but he got all the running ,but that’s snooker ,I don’t blame Trump for not praising his opponent in that instance ,it’s not like he got blown of the table ,show me a good loser and he’s a loser ,etc

Sorry but I disagree. I think you should have the balls to show respect to your opponent when you lose. Say what you want about Ronnie, but he's always a gracious loser, and I don't think anyone would call him a loser. In fact I can't think of another player on the circuit who consistently whinges whenever they lose, as does Trump, he is by far the worst offender in that regard. We all hurt inside when we lose, but you've got to suck it up, it's part of your opponent's prize for winning. Becide which, it's not good for your game to blame anyone and everything but yourself when you fall short.

fair enough mate, he has done it a few times. Buts let's not forget our great Ambassador Steve Davis when he lost to Dennis in 1985! I'll try and dig a video out because that was hilarious! 😆

Jimmy looking for an excuse to lose and the dumb ref gave him the opportunity.
                referees eh! gotta hate 'em
Speak up, you've got to speak up against the madness, you've got speak your mind if you dare
but don't try to get yourself elected, for if you do you'll have to cut your hair

I have long noticed that in sports it sometimes happens that a strong opponent sometimes loses to a weak one. There are different reasons for this. But it's a game, losses are natural.

Maybe Judd needs to learn from Kevin Costner how to work on his interview technique -

I don't think the happy medium is unreasonably out of reach.

On a different note, I think Higgins and Kyren have switched to TP3 cues.

I noticed Higgins looked like he was using a different cue again recently. The grain chevrons pointing back to him is what he favours and on this current cue he's using they are very noticeable down the tip end.

First time I’ve watched Wilson play for quite a while .
He really seems to have sped up his game and is now doing less of the shuffling thing before his shot .

Much better to watch than previously .

that sounds refreshing - tbh thats all it would take for me to like him and enjoy watching him play. that and if he could find a little more feel, hes a big time winner then i think.

why are the home crowd not cheering and supporting Mark Allen? seems to be almost zero support for the home boy?!?! He so looks like he needs that lift from the crowd to engage him, 2-0 down he needs some inspiration!
