Where is snooker going anyway though ?
I know you're interested in the Muir's and Donaldson's etc but on the bigger scale who really cares ?
And I say that with no gratuitousness whatsoever, just as someone who likes the game.

Well I’m someone who absolutely loves the game and cares. I had bought into Hearn’s vision of making it a truly global sport with major sponsors and an expanded tour. Sadly that’s unlikely to happen with Hearn junior at the helm. He doesn’t have the same passion for the game as his Dad.
It looks to me like it’s a case of a few very talented individuals trying to get some more cash into their bank accounts. Pure greed but that’s the world we live in.
What’s the Muir’s and Donaldson’s got to do with it? Just a couple of lads following their dream.

I just hope they are warned and no further action is taken. From what I read, players are not allowed to play in any non sanctioned events that clash with WST events. They can play those events during the off days as per the WST calendar.

Well if that’s what’s in the contracts then this could well end up in court. It sounds like it’s one of those In Restraint of Trade clauses.

Just open it up and problem solved.
No Q School, no former International Open Series, of course you can't have any eejits walking in so set a yearly fee or a fee per tournament.
Its all about money anyway, at least this way the barrier is the same for all and would lessen the drift towards China.
