does seem to be like the good old days at Newport

    How much are tickets?
I don't know I haven't checked the ticket prices , very cheap though on the train from Euston , if I'm not working I could easily go up there , can't you just pay to get in or just buy tickets once you're there ?

        Have you been Trains?
Is the arena close to town centre? Easy walk to amenities, hotels, etc? Any recommendations for hotels, food?
That's is why I loved Newport and Cardiff as the venue is in the middle of town
        Up the TSF! :snooker:

No I've never actually been to any venue where WS tour matches were on , its a formality that I will do though , just browsing the WS calendar this season either the British Open this week where i'd possibly get off the train in Bletchley or the English Open in Brentwood Essex in december would be the most likely that i'd go to.

Barry Pinches just misses the last red by a millimetre, Milkins eventually gets over the line 4-3.
Good win for India's Himanshu Dinesh Jain and Dylan Emery over Tom Ford.

Julien Leclercq's feet are nearly as big as Daniel Wells's.

Good win there for Joe O Connor, potential top 20 player imo.

Live streaming here Liang Wenbo V Jamie Jones, commentary is not in English though. Does anyone know of any free streams for the Oliver Lines V Lu Ning match.

Anyone know whats that interference sound on the Bet365 stream ? It sounds like when you used to adjust an aerial on an old analog tv.

This is being played in Cannock, I wonder if Steve James has gone to a session or two ?

English Open qualifiers start tomorrow, Bet365 have Fraser Patrick as an 8/13 favourite vs Jimmy White for their match next sunday.
Duane Jones at 11/4 to beat Robert Milkins doesn't look too bad.
Also it looks like Dechawat Poomjaeng is finally making his entry Saturday vs Alexander Ursenbacher.

Jimmy White leading Brazil's Victor Sarkis 5 - 0 , shows you what I know I thought Sarkis would win this match.
Good to see 16 year old Liam Davies on his way to beating Burden though.

                              Jimmy does a 6-0
played quite well; Sarkis - in awe maybe?

Alfie B - just not there, missing simple shots, come on AB
Liam D is playing well, taking the chances given him
                              Up the TSF! :snooker:

Bit embarrassing to see this venue so empty, WS needs to brush up its PR I think.
