He said to an up and coming amateur when they were playing in a match a few years ago who's now a pro ' could you be anymore slower ' ? The lad wouldn't have mentioned it to me if there was any degree of class in it. I think he's just a beneficiary of the hotbed snooker area of South Wales, his career record pretty much reflects that.

Actually really helps to see that Ryan can play that bad last night but get up for the fight today!! Great to see tbh and just shows on the big scale how this game effects everyone.

Amazing game, when you are "seeing them" the game is your Oyster when you're struggling the pockets act like a Lobsters claw!

Honestly thought that Mark would blow Ryan away today to the tone of around 10-5 !

Missed the whole final due to work .
I kept track with Cuetracker though , seems the quality of the final was high .
I guess Ryan Day went into this final as the underdog with nothing to lose unlike the semi final where the opposite is true and the standard reflected that.
