Playing like he's drunk a Bottler Jack!

        What a disappointing match...

I could tell after the first frame this was likely to be a whitewash. Lisowski has a frailty to his game that its so easy to beat him if you play solid match snooker. He just hasn't got a snooker brain, he's got a natural ability to pot balls and break build but thats it. He hasn't got bottle, he's got zero awareness of playing the right shot, he's not got a reliable cue action under pressure, how do you work on someone with such weaknesses to their game. Ebdon is wasting his time and I don't understand prolonging that relationship.

I couldn't believe he played the cannon on the red and black off the blue in that last frame, there was absolutely no need at all to do that. It wasn't bad luck he never won that last frame there were a lot of bad choices he made culminating in the really poor shot on the green positionally leaving a bad angle and having to cannon the brown. Bad bad bad....its boring now tbh...

I don't think it helps the way they talk him up as though he's some brilliant player. He can pot and breakbuild, that's it. When it works it may be nice to watch but as anyone that's ever played to a decent level, its not enough to win regularly.
I think its made him believe in his own hype, he has an arrogance which he thinks he's better than he is. Today Williams knew how to beat him and exposed all the weaknesses in his personality, his technique, his lack of tactics and shot selection and he showed him up to be the weak player he really is. I don't want to sound like a hater, but Lisowski really needs to show more humility, stop trying to be Ronnie and be his own person.

I always feel Jack, at age 31, comes across like a teenager with a manufactured stage persona pretending to be an adult and a historically low attention span.

Got a spare all day premium ticket for tomorrow's final if anyone's interested. Don't know if I can send or receive messages here, haven't been here at tsf for a long time.

But apart from that’s he’s fine

                          • Hoping to see Stuart come out after a dump and a pish and sort himself out.

Feel quite nervous for him. Judd seems to be winding up, although some silly misses for these guys.

Wow, I can't honestly see Jack as arrogant at all tbh. I think he's a nice guy who is desperately trying to be a little tougher which goes against the grain for him. I think his life experience as a young man with cancer has bought him all the humility he needs to find in life. I think you've mistaken his coyness for arrogance as he's actually a very shy person who is trying to overcome fear and be a better player.

I wish him every success in that.
