I was thinking more mental Stamina, the kind of thing Ronnie has talked about in terms of mental strength to go the distance at the Crucible. Strength of mind to believe in your own game stick with your strengths no matter who you’re playing etc.

Terrible missed black at the end from Carter and he was a bit unlucky with the run in the last few frames but well done Jak Jones, Neil Robertson better play well i doubt somehow Jones will be as easy as Yize.

Did look out of sorts this evening didn't he. As you say, through to the 2nd round now, maybe he'll relax a little. Felt for Ricky, but he made some mistakes at crucial points in the match.

Yeh, I felt for Ricky too he fought a good fight just came up short. I think Luca deserved the win at the end there, he held his nerve well when it mattered most.

What a start by Vafaei into this session. I actually thought that Ding would need a good start, as he tends to struggle, when it's too close. Now it's the other way around and it will be a big task for Ding to catch the Iranian.

Also I think Ding should definitely have played on for foul points in that frame. Despite the balls position he had a chance and the gap wasn't immense. Also he needs table time to find his game and could have probably stopped Vafaeis rhythm a bit.
