After the first session I really had written off Milkins - Perry as a disappointment. Now this has turned into a real thriller.

Definitely. He also might feel additional power, given the form he came into the tournament. He hasn't been so clearly among the favourites for quite a few years. And also he has probably the nicest draw of any favourite regarding each quarter.
Another thing is that I read somewhere he commentated on a match this weeek already as an expert. If this is true, this is the same big mistake he made last year. You really should focus on your own match and game and not do something like this until you are out of the tournament.
